Terms of service
SIQA Booking Terms and Conditions
Effective date: 17th December 2025
These Booking Terms apply to bookings made through SIQA’s website booking system.
1) Definitions
“SIQA”, “we”, “us”: Specialist Information and Quality Assurance, 76 Furze road, Sandyford Business Park, D18 VHK2
“Client”, “you”: the person and/or organisation making the booking.
“Services”: the consultancy/support services described on the booking page and/or proposal/statement of work.
2) Booking formation and scope
A booking is considered accepted when you receive a written confirmation (email/booking confirmation page). The scope is the service type selected plus any written description on the booking page and any subsequent written agreement (proposal, statement of work, or email confirmation). If your needs change materially, SIQA may require a revised scope, timeline, and fee.
3) Fees, invoicing, and payment
Fees are as displayed at booking or as agreed in writing. SIQA may invoice in advance, on milestones, or after delivery, as specified at booking or in the statement of work. Late payment may result in suspension of services until the account is brought up to date.
4) Cancellations and rescheduling
Reschedule: allowed up to 48 hours before the appointment without charge, subject to availability. SIQA may reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances; if SIQA cancels, you may choose a reschedule or a refund of any prepaid fees for the affected session(s).
5) Client responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate booking and contact information.
- Ensure you have authority to engage SIQA on behalf of your organisation (if applicable).
- Provide timely access to relevant information, stakeholders, and systems needed to deliver the Services.
- Not submit unlawful, infringing, or third-party personal data through booking notes unless authorised and necessary.
6) Deliverables and acceptance
Deliverables (for example, reports, recommendations, templates, or QMS artefacts) will be provided in the format stated in the scope. Unless otherwise agreed, you must notify SIQA of any material issues within 7 business days of delivery; otherwise deliverables are deemed accepted.
7) Intellectual property
Pre-existing SIQA materials, frameworks, templates, and know-how remain SIQA’s intellectual property. Upon full payment, you receive a licence to use agreed deliverables internally for your organisation’s purposes, unless the scope states otherwise. You may not resell or redistribute SIQA proprietary materials without written permission.
8) Confidentiality
Each party must keep the other party’s confidential information confidential and use it only to perform or receive the Services, except where disclosure is required by law or professional advisers under confidentiality.
9) Data protection
Each party will comply with applicable data protection law. Where SIQA processes personal data on your behalf as a processor (for example, within your quality documentation), the parties will agree appropriate contractual terms (for example, a DPA) consistent with GDPR expectations for controller–processor relationships.
10) Limitation of liability
Nothing limits liability for fraud, or any liability that cannot legally be limited. SIQA’s total liability arising out of or related to the booking/services is limited to the fees paid for the relevant Services except where prohibited by law. SIQA is not liable for indirect or consequential loss (for example, loss of profit, revenue, or business interruption) to the fullest extent permitted by law.
11) Professional judgment
SIQA provides professional advice and support; you remain responsible for managerial decisions, compliance determinations, and implementation outcomes unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
12) Governing law and jurisdiction
These Booking Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections (if applicable).
13) Changes to terms
SIQA may update these Booking Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your booking applies to that booking unless otherwise required by law.
